Charlie Stratton has written scripts for both film and the stage. His credits for the stage include FEAR AND MISERY, HISTORY, and THE DYBBUK, among others. He has directed numerous plays at various theaters in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. He directs frequently for the Naked Angels Theater company in New York City and was Co-Artistic Director of The Wilton Project theater company in Los Angeles.
His recent screenplay adaptation of THE NAZI OFFICER'S WIFE will star Hilary Swank and is to be directed by Mike Figgis. He has also written THE MIRROR which Joan Chen will direct and BEASTS for Harold Becker to direct. For television, Charlie directed multiple episodes of the WB series EVERWOOD. In 2008, he will direct his screenplay adaptation of THERESE RAQUIN which will star Glenn Close, Gerard Butler, Jessica Biel and Giovanni Ribisi.
Charlie is a graduate of Harvard University.
